I’m A Ballerina!

I’m A Ballerina!

Happy Easter Weekend! The weather is stunning and Scout has ants in her pants as usual. I decided to let her dress herself today as I sometimes do, she enjoys the independence. She has a slight obsession with tutus or anything that screams “Hey, look at me, I’m a ballerina!” I only have one child so I can’t say that I’m an expert on children but I do feel that ALMOST all little girls love ballet as if it’s a secret society or something. Two year olds in a ballet class look more like a flock of cute screaming flamingos running loose in the wild. Although they lack technique, Scout is convinced that her spins will score her the leading role in the nut cracker playing at Lincoln Center. There’s nothing better than seeing your little one so happy.

Today was an easy breezy beautiful day so we spent it by the love locks located next to the  ferry in Dumbo, Brooklyn. We worked our way down to Jane’s Carousel to pony up for the whopping price of two bucks. I absolutely adore this carousel, it is a must see!

Enjoy the pics and don’t forget to drop us a note:)
