I noticed almost every time I picked up Scout from school, she wouldn’t eat all of her lunch. I asked her why but she stated that she just was’t hungry. I knew that was a lie and felt that she was just tired of what I was packing. After a little research on Pinterest, I quickly realized that her lunch looked boring and unappetizing. Who wants to eat a boring lunch? I researched new lunch ideas and came across Yumbox, a leakproof bento lunch box. It was perfect for balancing the right portions of food with different compartments and showcasing illustrations on the bottom of each tray. It encourages healthy eating by separating the food and giving the eye a colorful assortment of options to choose from. You can choose from 4 or 6 compartments as well as multiple color options (Ananas Yellow, Pink Lemonade, Purple Lavende) for the exterior based on your mood or personality.
If you have younger children, I suggest going with the one that we selected which is the lavande purple. It comes equipped with 6 compartments, one for dipping sauces such as ketchup or nut butters and five other areas to add key food groups. If you have older kids who would enjoy full sandwiches or bigger portions then I suggest the Panino model. Yumbox also fits in most lunch bags which makes it perfect for totting to school. I personally am obsessed with it and so is London. We take it to picnics and photoshoots and she always eats all of her food now, thank goodness!
