#Heyworld I wanted to elaborate a little more on the Gap X ED collection that I posted a few weeks back. Just to refresh your memory, this collection is with Ellen DeGeneres’s new lifestyle brand, ED, and GapKids. I love that this partnership is all about inspiring girls and children everywhere to take pride in what makes them unique using the #heyworld message.
There are a few styles that are on heavy rotation in Scout’s wardrobe from this collection. Each piece is extremely comfortable, functional and perfect for hitting the playground. we’re especially excited for the GapKids x ED Holiday Collection which will be launching December 15th!
Here are 3 ways to style some of your favorite ED pieces that will inspire and empower girls everywhere.
Something about these horizontal lines brings this look together in more ways than one. Try pairing a stripe printed shirt with loose fitted joggers rolled at the ankle. Bring this relaxed look together with a denim jacket, brimmed hat and a pair of hi-tops for a chic on-the-go look.
Everyday Denim Jacket
If there’s one piece that you can wear anytime of the year, that’s the denim jacket. Denim instantly adds cool-girl style to any outfit. We went for a popped collar look to make Scout’s rolled up sweats look polished. She sported a customizable fold over lunchbox filled with markers and snacks. Hey, you never know when you might need a bite after being creative.
Athletic wear is huge for 2015. GapKids X ED designs a comfy indigo french terry top with an elastic banded hem and jogging pants. Scout had the idea of tying her everyday denim around her waist and finishing the look with a printed clutch. What can I say, this kid has great styling ideas.
