When you’re young, you want to go out with your friends, go on dates, stay out late, and be a little rebellious. You don’t really understand why your parents want you to check in all the time or why they need to know evvverything about your plans. Your teenage anthem plays to the tune of “Chill out, mom,” and “I’ll be fine, dad.”
Then you have kids of your own, and suddenly you get it. Worrying about them just becomes second nature, a constant part of your routine that you learn to live with, like breathing or drinking water. You can’t help but fuss over your kiddos because you love them so much. Luckily LS is several years away from middle school, and she still seems to think I’m pretty cool. Rio can’t even walk yet, but I already worry that his future girlfriends will hate me. I’m trying to figure out how to convince him to live with me forever. I’m not overprotective or anything. That’s normal, right?
Now that I’m older and have two kids to take care of, I’ve been thinking about taking a second look at my life insurance coverage. I want LS and Rio to be safe and covered in any event, even though I don’t like to think about any scenario besides the three of us and hubby, living under the same roof for all eternity.
I’ve started looking into Amica Insurance, and I was very impressed with the service I’ve received. When it comes to life insurance, it’s so important to make sure that you and your family are adequately covered. The Amica Insurance staff has been so helpful, going above and beyond to explain their policies and listen to my unique personal situation. They really take their time to hear your concerns and work with you to find the proper coverage plan, instead of giving you a mass bundle and saying “take it or leave it.” Amica Insurance offers plans at a great value for your money, and they’re straightforward about providing available discounts that you may be eligible for. As a mom and a wife, I think it would be a big relief to know that while I take care of my kids on a day-to-day basis, Amica Insurance has my back in the long run.
If you’re going through any big life changes and need to find a solid insurance plan, I would strongly recommend looking at Amica Insurance. They offer auto, home, and life insurance, so you can conveniently get 360 coverage in one place. And to all the moms out there who have gotten used to the worrying that accompanies parenthood, be sure to check out the Protect Your Everything content hub on Parents.com.
Cheers to raising safe and happy kids, and daydreaming about living with them forever.
