18 Dec Sleeping With Curly Hair
I get so many questions about how I maintain my curls, how I sleep, and tips on keeping hair hydrated. Curly hair isn’t the easiest to maintain, but there are so many products out there to ease some of the stress. We teamed up with SLAP Cap, by Grace Eleyae, who designed a satin-lined cap that women can wear to bed but also feel comfortable enough to wear outside. This cap is designed to maintain and moisturize your curls instead of creating friction and frizz as most hats often do.
As we all know, mornings with a kid isn’t glamorous and I almost never have time to put myself together. The Slap Cap has helped me look somewhat decent for school drop off, and doesn’t damage my curls. I no longer deal with horrible bed head and dry ends. Here is how I wear the Slap Cap to bed to keep my curls fuss free.
Start your night routine by gathering your hair in a high pineapple and securing it with a satin scrunchie.
Place the SLAP Cap over the entire head. The elastic band should secure the hat in place.
