Couture Pregnancy

If there was one thing I regret in life that would be the fact that I did not document my pregnancy the first time around. In my mind, I wanted to do a maternity shoot but LS was born so early that I missed my window. Fast forward 5 years later and now I have my opportunity to document this amazing time in my life that I might not experience again. I’m a huge fan of looking and feeling my best as a mother and during pregnancy. I wanted to highlight the natural glow and get that one epic shot I always wished I took years ago.

I searched for the perfect gown and location that could turn my dream into reality. I was fortunate enough to pull a Valentino gown from the showroom that fit my bump like a glove. Everything about this caped gown made me feel beautiful. I always wanted to photograph the Brooklyn Bridge and I knew it would have to be an early morning shoot in order to get the shot I was looking for.

The day started at 5:00 am to prep and the team was on the bridge by 6:45am. It was absolutely freezing and the wind blew every wave right out off my hair. I was a little bummed about the waves but once I saw the shots, I immediately got over it. I’m so happy that I have my perfect memory of being pregnant with my baby boy and I’m so excited to share these images with you. I hope you love these photos as much as I do.

So so beautiful, Sai! We share similar sentiments about documenting our growing bellies.

BEAUTIFUL photos of you so close to delivery. It truly does help to look your best when your pregnant and accent the bump. 🙂 You’ve shown us all great ways to do that along your journey. Thank you! I plan to do a special shoot as I approach my latter weeks of the third trimester.
