Hair Makeover

The Experience

One of my favorite topics to share with you guys is my haircare routine. Keeping my hair healthy and looking good takes a lot of work and now that I’m busier than ever, I’m taking all the help I can get.

That’s why I was grateful that my friends at Nexxus invited me to come by the salon for a little “mommy makeover” to upgrade my hair color and style. Finding the time to keep up with my beauty maintenance is harder than ever but their newly opened TriBeCa salon is so beautiful that it was easy to find an excuse to slip away and get pampered.

The interior of the salon is decorated with all white and natural elements making it a real oasis in the heart of the city. From the moment I stepped in, I knew I was going to be in good hands. Nexxus focuses on elements from nature to develop their products and fortify my hair with the best natural protein and other key botanical extracts.

When I sat down with my stylist, Patrick and Virginia they laid out exactly what my hair needed and the best products for my particular hair. It was truly a customized and luxurious experience.

After washing with the Color Assure Shampoo & Conditioner and experiencing their nature-inspired Signature Protein Treatment, my hair has never felt smoother or looked better. This visit was exactly the treat that I needed to get back to feeling like the “old me” again (except this time with better hair!).

Thank you so much for having me Nexxus! I can’t wait to go back for another visit. If you’re in the NYC you can e-mail to start your very own hair transformation with the talented team at Nexxus!

Let’s jump into my hair transformation so you can see what a difference this luxury treatment made.

Hi Sai! Your hair looks gorgeous! How do you keep your curls from becoming heat damaged when you get it straightened? I love the versatility of wearing my hair both ways but don’t want to damage my curl pattern. Do you do any special treatments before or after. Please share. Thanks much.
