*This post was sponsored by the maker of OxiClean. I’ve partnered with OxiClean White Revive to write about my experience and all opinions are 100% my own.
As someone who works in fashion, I find it very hard not to change my outfit at least twice a day. It’s not because I don’t like what I’m wearing but because I have an infant! I love to wear white. In fact, if it’s in my closet and it’s not black, chances are it’s white, especially in the warmer seasons. Nothing says “ready for summer” like crisp white shirts, easy white summer dresses, and a white tee paired with my favorite pair of denim shorts. However, now with Rio around, wearing white can be sort of risky.
Between Rio spitting up on me and two diaper leaks later, I’m left with stains in almost every part of my fashionable ensemble. If you’ve had this experience with your little ones then you know how badly these hiccups can stain. When the maker OxiClean White Revive asked to partner with us, I immediately said yes and quickly thought of a funny story about the brand that happened a few years prior.
Oddly enough London and I were walking down the street and she made a comment on how dirty the sidewalk was. She suggested that we get a scrubber and use OxiClean on the black marks (which was gum) to get them out. Of course, I immediately started laughing and told her she watches too much TV but figured she made a really good point! I mean, my dad uses OxiClean so I’m very familiar with the brand. To make this story a little funnier, when London was 3 years old she told an old man that he has a stain on his clothes and he has to use OxiClean to get it out because it’s tough on stains. The laughter that came from both of us was unreal but she stood there perplexed as to why we thought that was funny when she was being truthful and sincere.
The maker of OxiClean who makes the powerful stain fighter that London loves so much also has another product called OxiClean White Revive. It’s a laundry whitener and stain remover that can be used to brighten and whiten white clothes.
Let’s fast forward to today and I’m putting this laundry whitener and stain remover to the ultimate test. OxiClean White Revive has 40% more whitening power per load than chlorine bleach. OxiClean White Revive lifts away stains, brightens my whites, and maintains my whites to help them look like new. It’s safe on colors, so I don’t need to worry about any colorful accents on my clothing.
So it’s just a quick trip to the laundromat and I’m back to looking stylish and ready to go! Did I mention that it also removes makeup from my collar? I constantly have these issues with this and I finally found a good solution for getting these tough stains out. For those tough makeup stains, give the shirt a soak in OxiClean White Revive before throwing it in the wash.
What I love most about using this product is that there’s no chlorine smell and worry of bleach accidentally spilling or splattering on my colors. So now, even with messy kids, I don’t have to sacrifice my personal style for fear of stains and I can take on my day in the city looking bright and clean.
