Family Style: Autumn Layers

It’s October, and the Scout family is eagerly waiting for fall to burst into full swing in New York. It’s never too early to start prepping your closet with some autumn wardrobe staples just in case the temperatures dip faster than a NY minute to your favorite store. For this post, we partnered up with Old Navy to #SayHi to fall fashion with some cozy finds that will make you want to ditch the office and head straight outdoors.

Rio and I decided to mix classic denim with a bold print. I paired a crisp white turtleneck with a pair of playful, camouflage skinnies. White booties round out the look and incorporate one of my current favorite footwear trends. A denim jacket is versatile, an autumn must-have you can tie around your waist and throw on to add layers at a moment’s notice. Rio was dashing in a pair of dark wash jeans and tan suede moccasins. A camouflage thermal Henley made him even cuddlier than usual and completed this mommy and me look.

Little Black Dress

London dressed in a black knit swing dress, with a simple white tee peeking out underneath. Don’t you think she’s channeling her inner Audrey Hepburn but with a layered look? Unfortunately, I made her eat her breakfast at home instead of at Tiffany’s. A pair of two-tone flats in tan and black are the perfect autumn shoe for a little girl on the go.

You can never go wrong with some cozy knits in the autumn. Layering neutrals and adding some playful prints, you can create a crisp look for even crisper weather. Stay cozy everyone.

What a beautiful little family and what darling babies. I love the style in this entire post. It really reminds me of the unique things I’ve found for my kids working closely with This clothing company I love their stuff and the bonus is that my kids do too!
