Office Goals: Creating a Gallery Wall

I’m so excited to announce that our office here at Scout The City is coming together! The Scout Team is still taking things project by project, but we’ve got a space in the works that is starting to feel like a home away from home. Furniture has been moved, shelves have been hung, and we’re proud to say that we’ve got a girl boss vibe going on. It’s all about work hard, play hard here at STC, and we’re building a space that will make our team feel inspired every day.

One of my favorite things about decorating a new space is putting on the finishing touches. Thanks to Minted, we’ve just completed our gallery wall! We have a variety of fun, playful prints that infuse the office with creativity. I decided to choose a color palette of pinks, blues, and greens because a little color is always a good idea. Of course, I infused some black and white to ground the prints with sturdy neutrals.

The gallery wall incorporates tropical themes, abstract patterns, and a big city aesthetic. I’m a Brooklyn girl so I had to stay true to my roots with a photo of the Brooklyn Bridge, which is just down the street from my office. I also selected several photos of plants, palm trees, and cacti, for an organic, artsy effect. I brought in some live plants as well to play off the prints, bring the outdoors in, and elevate the space.

My favorite photo is definitely the gray elephant on the pink background. It’s so simple, but it never fails to make me smile. We have one print with a saying that rings true for us at Scout The City, Inc. “Work hard and be nice.” Things can get crazy around here. My calendar is a testament to that. But there’s no better way to go through life than with a smile on your face.

Thanks to Minted, our office is infused with fun gallery walls that inspire us to be creative every day. We’d even venture to say that the STC workspace is becoming a prototype for #OfficeGoals. Be sure to check out the fun prints available from Minted as they’ve got options to fit every office vibe and personality.

Thank you, Minted, for today’s post!
