These last few months have felt a bit like a whirlwind with a new baby, the family Eurotrip, and new developments at the STC office. Now that things are starting to calm down, I’ve been committed to making fitness a priority. Even though my post-pregnancy period is a few months behind me, I’ve always got a few areas I’d like to tighten up and tone. I’ve started working with a trainer a few days a week, but I also like to squeeze in a good workout on my own here and there for days.
Recently, I’ve discovered the perfect app to help me reach my fitness goals: The Jillian Michaels App. Wa all know Jillian is famous for being a kickass trainer who’s incredibly good at what she does, and the exercises in her app translate the same intensity. She offers programs for all fitness levels and purposes so whether you’re a total beginner who’s never worked out before or a fitness junkie who wants to tighten up, even more, you can choose a program to fit your fitness level. She even has a dad bod program and a bridal boot camp!
Once you choose your level, you can customize your workout based on which areas you’d like to target. I’m especially focusing on my core this season so I’ve infused more crunches and stomach tightening exercises. Each exercise has a corresponding video so you can watch a demo as if the trainer is in the room with you! The app also offers meal plans and workouts ranging from 10 to 45 minutes so you can really stay on track in all aspects of your fitness journey.
