I’m so excited about this brand’s conscientious new collection! Rio can’t stop talking about it.
This post was sponsored by Pampers, but all opinions are 100% my own.
When it comes to a romantic relationship, compromises are an essential part of making it work. You settle for Chinese food even though you really wanted Italian. You visit the in-laws for Easter and see your folks at Thanksgiving. You move to Canada for a year even though it’s cold as heck and you really don’t want to leave your beloved New York…
Okay so maybe that last one was just me, but you get the point. If we’re talking about a romantic partner, compromise is a must. However, the whole compromise sha-bang comes to a screeching halt when it comes to your children. As a mother, your natural instincts really do kick into high gear because you want the absolute best for your babies. When it comes to the wellbeing of your kids, compromising is just not really an option.
Supermoms far and wide know what it’s like to go above and beyond for their kids, whether that means conducting hours of research to find the best daycare in the tristate area or making three different meals based on allergies. One of my supermom powers is being a label investigator. If you ever see me in a supermarket, chances are that I’ll be paused in the dairy aisle, reading through the label like I’m catching up on my international business news. Manufacturers and brands are incredibly equipped at making products seem less harmful than they really are. Luckily, I’ve got an impressive amount of patience and a background in biology (supplemented by the occasional Google search.)
I even order Rio’s baby food from Germany to ensure I’m getting the best formula for the little peanut. I started researching what American companies were really putting in baby formula, and it just didn’t fly with me. I found out that the baby formulas in the European Union were subject to different health regulations that required more transparency and fewer harmful ingredients. Then, I found a formula in Germany that comes from goat milk and is way healthier than anything I could pluck off the shelves of my local supermarket. My baby deserves nutrients not preservatives, and if that means getting formula from another country, then so be it.
When I find a brand that truly endeavors to put wellbeing and wholesome ingredients first, I become a disciple. I recently had the opportunity to attend the P&G headquarters with Pampers regarding a new collection they were launching. I learned so much about what truly goes into the creation of a product, and I was impressed by the heightened consciousness of such a large company. They wanted to make the product trials of motherhood into a conversation, and they listened when I shared my label concerns.
After the workshop and some brand collaboration, I’m so excited to share this new diaper line with all you supermoms and label scanners out there. The Pampers Pure Collection is a diaper and wipe collection that uses premium cotton and thoughtfully selected materials, including plant-based fibers. It’s such a relief to finally have a natural diaper option on the shelves. This collection is fragrance and paraben free, contains no lotions, natural rubber latex or chlorine bleach, and eliminates the 26 allergens identified by the European Union. Honestly, it’s been a lot more convenient than having to order diapers from Germany, if you know what I’m saying. I was relieved to know that all diapers were dermatologically tested and clinically proven to be hypoallergenic.
The Pampers Aqua Pure wipes are comprised of 99% pure water and premium cotton. They’re designed to help maintain the pH of baby’s delicate skin and can be used on newborn bottoms, hands and faces.
It’s refreshing to find a big name label that has heard the concerns of label-conscious mothers everywhere, and created a new line around those concerns. The labels are transparent, and the diapers are full coverage. Bingo.
When I told all of this to Rio, he just stared blankly at me. Kids these days. However, he really seems to be into the stylish prints. The Pampers Pure Collection has playful prints for each diaper size! Thoughtfully selected materials. Fashionable. Pampers Protection. The Scout Fam is in.
Be sure to look into this fabulous new diaper and wipes collection! And if you can’t wait to try (like I couldn’t) buy it here. Because when it comes to what’s best for your kids, you shouldn’t have to compromise.
