19 May Can’t Touch This
London’s BFF, Ryder trooped down to Brooklyn from the upper east side and we couldn’t have been more thrilled! These two can’t get enough of one another like a little Bonnie and Clyde but without the violence or felonies.
To our surprise they were both wearing the most adorable harem pants which called for a mini photo shoot asap! If you’re as
OLD advanced in years as I am than you remember the MC hammer pants phenomenon in the 90’s. Oh how fashionable we were back then as we were striding along with headphones singing “Can’t Touch This” in our Sony discman. To my surprise these diaper duds made a huge comeback and I’m actually thrilled! Ryder’s mom and I were fortunate enough to find two rockstar brands that perfected the look for kids! I’m excited to tell you all about Duke of London and Arrow + Aspen! You might have heard of these amazing brands while stalking the pop page on Instagram. They seem to be popping up all over our feed and thank goodness because these pants are a necessity.
Arrow + Aspen was created by two free-spirited moms by the name of Christa and Alexandria. They provide uniquely created items designed straight from their gypsy hearts and it shows in the quality of their pieces!
Duke of London is all about the boys. Their unique designs find the perfect balance between uber-cool and comfort for active little dudes aged 6 months to 6 years.
I find myself obsessed with both brands! Although Duke of London caters to the boys, I have no problem with throwing a few of their fashion-forward designs on Scout. I always scour the boys section for pieces that I can incorporate into her wardrobe. How else did you think the boyfriend jean trend came to light? Well maybe it started because it was laundry day and someone actually had to wear their boyfriends jeans:/ Whatever, You get the point. Check out Scout and her BFF Ryder as they scooted through the neighborhood like two miniature rockstars.
Disclosure: You child will become instantly famous with anyone who notices their pants. (Be prepared to be on a red carpet).
