Happy New Year

Happy New Year

IMG_8098Happy New Year everyone! I wanted to thank you all for being so kind, supportive and just plain awesome! I originally started this blog as a side hobby so I could stop over spamming my kid on Facebook. Let’s face it, I’m a city girl and most of my friends are still living that “Sex in the city” life where children don’t exist in their Tinder filled date nights. I get it! You don’t want to see my little Scout filling up your feeds every five minutes. I didn’t want to be that mom so I started her very first Insta and months later, Scout The City was born.

I’m fashion obsessed and have a crush on city street style. I figured this was the perfect opportunity to showcase children’s fashion in an unconventional way. How many of us have actually seen a three-year old fashion blogger? They really don’t exist! I can probably name four kiddies who have a blog solely based on their #ootd choices. I’m hopping we can set the tone and open doors for mini style icons alike.

STC started a mere 7 months ago and has since been recognized on Forbes.com, Barney’s New York, Poster Child Style and Babiekins Mag to name a few. The biggest accomplishment to date is being signed by Nylon Media. Not sure if you can tell but I’m excited. This year you can expect our brand to evolve with introduction to new designers and everything kiddie fab. We want to invite you into our chaotic, humorous world with video tutorials taught by a toddler, kiddie friendly vacation spots and relatable mom chats. So again, I can’t thank you enough for all the support and stay tuned as we grow and kick butt in 2015!

Ballerina Dress Up

It's time for NYE and a little ballerina dress up! We all know how much Scout adores ballet which is why we fell head-over-heels for this Alivia Simone dress. The silhouette and quality of this piece is outstanding and made LS feel like a ballerina princess. Mother/daughter designers Shirley and...
