STRIPES

I fell in love with Scout’s metallic blue striped dress and it inspired me to throw on a few horizontal lines myself. I often catch myself wanting to borrow my daughters clothing which sounds ridiculous but how many 3-year-old bloggers do we actually know? In other words, I’m making excuses for my absurd thoughts. Scout and I went out for the day and I knew we would end up at the park so I kept it casual and comfy in flats and denim. I recently purchased a pair of high-waist ripped jeans from Madewell and I’m obsessed! The stretch is perfect and they’re beyond comfortable, I highly recommend them! We finished her look with a fashionable tote from Milk & Soda

I wanted to address some comments about my recent hair change. I just lightened my hair with two different colors giving my hair a “tortoise shell” effect. The name of the method is called Ecaille which is the new craze replacing ombré. I will go into a full mom chat rant about the color in a later post.

I would love to hear your thoughts about today’s look and thanks for stopping by!

XO,

LS and Mommy
