Get ready to soar to new heights with me today! I’m beyond excited to add our new workout segment to the blog called #ScoutFit! We will be scouting the city for fun and exciting ways to workout with and without your kids. Today’s first segment will highlight Anya, a aeriel fitness studio which offers antigravity fitness techniques. I first stumbled upon antigravity yoga while reading a magazine and instantly knew I had to try it! After researching this practice I found that it consisted of numerous benefits and designed to decompress the spine and align the body from head to toe while strengthening and stretching.
Instantly I was hooked and booked my first class. I took my place at the hanging hammock designed by Christopher Harrison. The sun filled the room and my breath was calm as I stretched and hopped into the hammock. The practice was challenging yet relaxing. You could instantly feel your core strengthening as well as the conditioning of your upper and lower body. The practice flew by and left my spine feeling realigned. My skin was glowing from the blood flow to the capillaries in my face which is always a plus.
