Taking a trip around the world in 30 days is never easy to pack for. I often find myself over packing and not wearing half the items I tucked and rolled. This time I decided to think strategically about my outfits as well as my shoe choices so my bag wouldn’t be rejected at the check-in counter. We teamed up with M.Gemi to show you parts of the world that were at my feet. M.Gemi designs hand crafted luxury shoes without the huge price tag. Each piece is handmade by specialist factories that craft each shoe by hand. Each Monday they release a new style which keeps me looking forward to visiting their site every week!
First stop, Melbourne! I took a pair of glossy flats for a spin while scouting the streets of Melbourne. I stopped on graffiti filled streets that reminded me of LES in NY and walked through a few festivals and cafes. I paired my pointed flats with a pair of baggy distressed denim, striped top and leather jacket for a laid back look but the shoes added a little edge which was perfect while scouting the art filled walls.
Second Stop, Bali! I always wanted to go to Bali but never thought I would actually travel this far to make it! I packed a cute pair of color blocked chunky heel M.Gemi’s that I could pair with dresses for my tropical date nights. Everything about these shoes were stylish, on-trend and comfortable. The color palette is extremely versatile which can be mixed into almost any outfit.
Third Stop, Sydney! We made it to Sydney and it’s the perfect city to add a pop of color which is why I pulled out my Cammeo pumps. The streets are buzzing and there are so many posh places to visit. I dressed up a pair of distressed jeans and a tee to transition from day to-night.
