My Daily Snacks
I have had so many different cravings during my pregnancy and wanted to share what I typically snack on during the day so we created a short video of some of my favorite snacks. Trust me, these recipes are all Pinterest fail proof and will be on your table unburned in no time! If you like today’s video, please subscribe to our channel here and leave us a comment below.
Lime Mango Chili
- Half Lime
- 1 Mango ( Not To Ripe)
- Sea Salt
- Chili Lime Seasoning (From Trader Joes)
Cube your mango and place all pieces in a bowl, Sprinkle with chili lime seasoning and squeeze lime juice on top. Mix together for a perfect snack.
Vegan Cheese Popcorn
Add your desired amount of kernels to the brown paper bag and fold in half (twice to secure closing). Place in the microwave for 3 minutes. Depending on your microwave settings you should listen to the popping. If the popping is not consistent and slows down tremendously then you will burn your popcorn. (Trust me, it has happen to me so many times.) Add a desired amount of olive oil to the bag along with Salt and Nutritional Yeast. Nutritional yeast is not salty so feel free to add as much as you like. Did I mention it’s healthy for you? Shake the bag vigorously to coat and pour into a bowl.
Nut Butter Toast
- Nut Butter (Any type)
- Chia Seeds
Cut your baguette in half and place in the toaster. Spread your nut butter evenly to each side of your toast. Add sliced bananas, raisins, blueberries and walnuts on top. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle chia seeds to finish the snack off.
Boil or grill the corn first. Spread Veganaise on all sides of the corn. Begin to sprinkle chili lime seasoning on top and squeeze lime to taste.
- 1-2 eggs
- 1 Avocado Halved
- Chili Flakes
- Onion Powder
- Sea Salt
Scramble your eggs and place directly into the center of your avocado. Sprinkle with the above mentioned seasoning for a quick breakfast snack. Sunny Side up eggs also do really well with halved avocado.
